I have always wondered how old a parent child should be when they start giving time outs. Out of mind I have not clue on what age i should start giving my children time outs. I know around three or four would be ok but my question is from readers is what is the youngest you would give your child a time out. My son is a year old and I think that is to young of a age but he understands the word no but still doesnt listen very well I can honestly say he is quite stubborn like i was when i was a child but do you think he would respond well if we tried giving him time outs. Another thing I have in mind to find out is that my son has a temper and flips out and kicks his feet like kids who are to do ism this normal
